I feel so blessed to be part of a loving and generous family.  Hubby's mom and dad never fail to inspire me.  Their love grows deeper through the years!  This post is dedicated to them in honor of  their 54 years together.  Here's wishing them more happy years together.  Love! Love! Love! Anniversary Greetings for Papang and Mamang:)

Chivalry died last night :(

I've always believed chivalry ain't dead...not until last night... I have always believed people are generally good but again  I was proven wrong last night... Here it goes... Last night, hubby and I had to catch the bus' last trip home, we missed it by a few minutes at the bus terminal, nevertheless, we managed to chase the bus as we rode a tricycle from Magsaysay Drive to 14th St.  We finally boarded the bus, as expected there are no more available seats :( Honestly, I am ready to endure the 30-minutes bus ride home standing up than queue for a jeepney ride home.  I was half-expecting some gentlemen who are seated would graciously offer their seat, there were about four of them near me...There were about five ladies standing as well.  To my dismay, these gentlemen either pretended asleep or looked at the window:( I even noticed the other one near the bus driver, covered himself with the curtains, lol!    To cut the long story short, no gentlemen offered their s

I believe our full Saturday in Camp Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet and Baguio City deserves a separate post:) Hence, this "Part 2" blogpost.  Early Saturday morning at around 6am, half of our group went to the local "talipapa" or market for food supplies. Our day officially started with home cooked breakfast courtesy of our chefs, Hubby, Caloy & Atty. Mike plus chitchats with our generous host during breakfast.  Here goes our itinerary for the day: 1. Our sumptuous breakfast! 2.  Some photos @ our accommodation @ Camp Dangwa with our generous host... 3.  Stroll @ Strawberry Farm 4.  Lunch @ MANN HANN (SM Baguio) 5. UKay2x shopping(Wagwagan) 6.  "Pasalubong" shopping @ Baguio City Public Market;sidenote:  the kiosk on the left made me LOL! 7.  Massage @ Burnham Park 8. The rain failed to dampen our spirits @ Mine's View Park 9.  Ending our day with thanksgiving and prayer for a safe trip back home @ Baguio

Our group of nine(9) pax were supposed to go to a camping adventure in Nagsasa Cove, San Antonio Zambales last Friday, June 8.  However, due to weather condition we postponed it and instead went on an impromptu trip to La Trinidad, Benguet and Baguio City.  I must admit, I haven't thoroughly explored the City of Pines in the half-a-dozen times I was there. A day before the trip, I jotted down our itinerary---some places I would love to visit and re-visit are the following: Camp John Hay Wright Park The Mansion Good Shepherd Convent Mine's View Park Strawberry Farm Burnham Park  Baguio Cathedral SM Baguio Bell Church Treetop Adventure Tam-awan Village Butterfly Garden Botanical Garden We were on the road to Baguio City by Friday afternoon of June 8.  Thanks God for SCTEX and Marcos Highway, by past 7pm we were already in the City of Pines!   We were greeted by fireworks as soon as we arrived the city as we pass by Burnham Park because of the on-going Tanduay
