3D/2N Trip: La Trinidad, Benguet & Baguio "City of Pines" (Part 2)

I believe our full Saturday in Camp Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet and Baguio City deserves a separate post:) Hence, this "Part 2" blogpost. 

Early Saturday morning at around 6am, half of our group went to the local "talipapa" or market for food supplies. Our day officially started with home cooked breakfast courtesy of our chefs, Hubby, Caloy & Atty. Mike plus chitchats with our generous host during breakfast.  Here goes our itinerary for the day:

1. Our sumptuous breakfast!


2.  Some photos @ our accommodation @ Camp Dangwa with our generous host...
3.  Stroll @ Strawberry Farm

4.  Lunch @ MANN HANN (SM Baguio)

5. UKay2x shopping(Wagwagan)

6.  "Pasalubong" shopping @ Baguio City Public Market;sidenote:  the kiosk on the left made me LOL!

7.  Massage @ Burnham Park
8. The rain failed to dampen our spirits @ Mine's View Park

9.  Ending our day with thanksgiving and prayer for a safe trip back home @ Baguio Cathedral

  1. Breakfast @ Camp Dangwa 
  2. Picture taking @ Camp Dangwa
  3. Stroll @ Strawberry Farm (taste some strawberry taho and ice cream!!!)
  4. Stroll @ SM Baguio and Lunch @ Mann Hann
  5. Ukay-Ukay shopping @ "Wagwagan" near Baguio City Public Market
  6. Baguio City Public Market for sweets as "pasalubongs" and some vegetables
  7. Burnham Park massage (boys only, while waiting for the girls to finish shopping-lol!)
  8. Visit Mine's View Park and visit nearby Good Shepherd Convent (buy some of their famous ube jam because "for every bottle you purchase, you help send their students to school")
  9. Conclude the day with an Anticipated Mass @ 6pm at Baguio City's Cathedral:)
We spent the rest of our Saturday night @ Camp Dangwa as we are scheduled to go back to Subic @ five in the morning.  We arrived Subic a little past 10am on Sunday, enough time to catch the Pacquiao-Bradley fight.

Beach Getaway: White Rock Water Park and Beach Resort

June 6, 2015 Saturday How quick time flies, it feels like just a few days ago when we said hello to summer via my post on the first week of March 2015 . There was no shortage  of water activities this past few months, I must say Summer 2015 to date, has been the busiest! And the hottest!  I personally take a bath 2-3 times a day! So when schedule permits, we are either at a swimming pool or at the beach on weekends! And since we said hello to summer, it is but fitting to say goodbye! Last Saturday we did! Hubby and I were invited by my friend Anne and her family to join them at White Rock Water Park and Beach Resort for a beach getaway. Welcome to WHITE ROCK! 2015 Summer Trip # 1: Sto. Niño, San Felipe Zambales

March 8, 2015 (Sunday) Welcoming Summer 2015 with a trip to the beach/food trip!  Some of hubby and moi's friends from the office decided to plan a trip to the beach with our families and kids to relax and beat the summer heat.  Our call time was at 6AM however with a few glitches we we're only rolling at 10AM... I always enjoy road trips to Zambales because of the smooth ride, no traffic, plus no toll fees! Roadtrip:  On the way to San Felipe Zambales We arrived at San Felipe Zambales around lunch time.  With the sun, the sea and the sea breeze we feasted on a sumptuous lunch:-) Pork barbecue, Korean Pancit, CPA and fruits for lunch:-) Double thumbs up Kuya Joe! A beautiful sunny day for swimming! Life is a beach:-) Hubby and me:-) I didn't get the chance to swim though because I had sniffles...better luck next summer trip!
