June 6, 2015 Saturday How quick time flies, it feels like just a few days ago when we said hello to summer via my post on the first week of March 2015 . There was no shortage  of water activities this past few months, I must say Summer 2015 to date, has been the busiest! And the hottest!  I personally take a bath 2-3 times a day! So when schedule permits, we are either at a swimming pool or at the beach on weekends! And since we said hello to summer, it is but fitting to say goodbye! Last Saturday we did! Hubby and I were invited by my friend Anne and her family to join them at White Rock Water Park and Beach Resort for a beach getaway. Welcome to WHITE ROCK! May 23, 2015 Saturday "Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations!" - Author Unknown The above quote applies to our most recent island adventure in Zambales.  The road leading to the port to take us to the island via Brgy. Pagolingan in Palauig, Zambales was rough.  There were few cemented parts but most of time it was either rocky or very rocky!  That was about a good 30 mins. ride.  But once you reach the island after the 5-10 mins. boat ride, it's all worth it!   For those who do not have their own transportation,  guests take the tricycle for PhP 100 per pax.  One of our neighbors brought up the idea of visiting this place called "Magalawa Island".  Upon searching on facebook and blogs on the internet, the explorer in me was once again awakened!  As a true "lakwatsera", if I'm not out on an adventure, I'm busy searching for a new one!  As I always mention in my previous posts, I love road trips to Zambales simply...

April 12, 2015 My second trip to the Pink Sand Beach/Sta. Cruz Island in Zamboanga City this year was made even more memorable because of the presence of the Remot fam bam.  The beach get-away was sort of part 2 of the Royal Family Reunion.
