5th Women's Entrepreneurship Summit: Go Negosyo 2013

Kicking off the International Women's Month as a participant to the 5th Women's Summit at the World Trade Center in Pasay City along with 20 other SBMA employees including my best bud, Floricel:)

Woke up really early as the SBMA service vehicle-a Cebu Rosa coaster taking us to the venue will leave Subic at about 4:45 AM.  Buddy and I barely had enough sleep but we made it to our bus ride ahead of time from our place in Bataan to the meeting place in Layac.

While traveling along the North Luzon Expressway, our service vehicle broke down!!! Scary!!! Apparently the left - front tire was flat :(

Stranded at NLEX, we almost didn't make it on time for the Summit due to heavy traffic!
We made it 5 minutes before the program officially started...

As we arrived late, we were seated far from the stage, very near the exhibition booths:(
Then the program finally started with a doxology and national anthem...

Prior to Sen. Santiago's speech,  Mr. Go Negosyo's Joey Concepcion delivered his Welcome Remarks, I noted he said "Listen and be inspired!"

We were all indeed inspired and LOL at the same time at the Senator's witty pick-up lines as well as tenacity in her speech.  She spoke about Gender Gap/Equality, Plight of Women Entrepreneurs and Political Dynasty among other things.

We enjoyed looking around the Exhibit area:)
After the Awarding of 12 Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs, they were interviewed by the hosts Chal Lontoc and Mr. Go Negosyo Joey Concepcion, the audience was also given a chance to ask questions....
During the PM Session, Journalist-Ms. Karen Davila was the Guest Speaker.  Her speech was very inspirational as well.
Despite all the hassles of the trip, we enjoyed it to the maxxx, thanks buddy!

Beach Getaway: White Rock Water Park and Beach Resort

June 6, 2015 Saturday How quick time flies, it feels like just a few days ago when we said hello to summer via my post on the first week of March 2015 . There was no shortage  of water activities this past few months, I must say Summer 2015 to date, has been the busiest! And the hottest!  I personally take a bath 2-3 times a day! So when schedule permits, we are either at a swimming pool or at the beach on weekends! And since we said hello to summer, it is but fitting to say goodbye! Last Saturday we did! Hubby and I were invited by my friend Anne and her family to join them at White Rock Water Park and Beach Resort for a beach getaway. Welcome to WHITE ROCK! 2015 Summer Trip # 1: Sto. Niño, San Felipe Zambales

March 8, 2015 (Sunday) Welcoming Summer 2015 with a trip to the beach/food trip!  Some of hubby and moi's friends from the office decided to plan a trip to the beach with our families and kids to relax and beat the summer heat.  Our call time was at 6AM however with a few glitches we we're only rolling at 10AM... I always enjoy road trips to Zambales because of the smooth ride, no traffic, plus no toll fees! Roadtrip:  On the way to San Felipe Zambales We arrived at San Felipe Zambales around lunch time.  With the sun, the sea and the sea breeze we feasted on a sumptuous lunch:-) Pork barbecue, Korean Pancit, CPA and fruits for lunch:-) Double thumbs up Kuya Joe! A beautiful sunny day for swimming! Life is a beach:-) Hubby and me:-) I didn't get the chance to swim though because I had sniffles...better luck next summer trip!
