2015 Summer Trip # 1: Sto. Niño, San Felipe Zambales

Welcoming Summer 2015 with a trip to the beach/food trip!  Some of hubby and moi's friends from the office decided to plan a trip to the beach with our families and kids to relax and beat the summer heat.  Our call time was at 6AM however with a few glitches we we're only rolling at 10AM...

I always enjoy road trips to Zambales because of the smooth ride, no traffic, plus no toll fees!

We arrived at San Felipe Zambales around lunch time.  With the sun, the sea and the sea breeze we feasted on a sumptuous lunch:-)

I didn't get the chance to swim though because I had sniffles...better luck next summer trip!

Beach Getaway: White Rock Water Park and Beach Resort

June 6, 2015 Saturday How quick time flies, it feels like just a few days ago when we said hello to summer via my post on the first week of March 2015 . There was no shortage  of water activities this past few months, I must say Summer 2015 to date, has been the busiest! And the hottest!  I personally take a bath 2-3 times a day! So when schedule permits, we are either at a swimming pool or at the beach on weekends! And since we said hello to summer, it is but fitting to say goodbye! Last Saturday we did! Hubby and I were invited by my friend Anne and her family to join them at White Rock Water Park and Beach Resort for a beach getaway. Welcome to WHITE ROCK! 2D1N Sagrada Familia in Baguio City

Thanks to Expressways!  Particularly SCTEX and TPLEX, our trip last Saturday (10-10-2015) to the Summer Capital of the Philippines only took us about 4 hours!  Toll fees cost us about PhP 500.00 from Subic to Urdaneta, Pangasinan.  TPLEX, Urdaneta Exit Bladder Break at the TPLEX Urdaneta Exit It's our little lakwatsera's first trip to Baguio, and I'm sure it's not going to be the last:-D  She is a real trooper!  No hassles whatsoever during the trip.  Our group managed to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Manaoag, to pray for the safe trip and thanksgiving for all the blessings. Visit to our Lady of Manaoag with Nanay We had a quick stop over for lunch at a Bulaluhan before finally going to Baguio.  We stayed overnight at the Hotel 45.  While waiting for the availability of a Family room...
