2015 Pilgrimage #2: Kamay ni Hesus Hill Shrine @ Lucban, Quezon

Image
March 22, 2015 Our pilgrimage to Kamay ni Hesus with some of our neighbors was supposed to be scheduled this weekend, March 28, 2015, however, due to unavailability of vehicle and other issues, our trip was moved a week earlier. We didn't expect the cloudy weather when we reached South. We were in Batangas, when it started drizzling.  We didn't bring any jacket or umbrella:-( Hence, we were forced to pay for overpriced umbrellas sold at the parking area. "Slippery when Wet!" It's everybody's first time to visit "Kamay Ni Hesus Hill Shrine" in Lucban, Quezon.  We left our place in San Pablo Dinalupihan, Bataan at about 2:30AM of Sunday (March 22, 2015).  I appreciate road trips because it gives me an opportunity to appreciate nature.  I love nature!  And I also noticed that each place/province have their own version of tricycle:-) I <3 Nature:-) Their version of "Tricycle"  After 5 hours on the road---> "

March 15, 2015 At 6AM on Sunday, hubby and moi along with some of our neighbors went to San Jose, Tarlac to visit the Sanctuary of the Holy Cross, Monasterio de Tarlac. Road signs leading to Monasterio de Tarlac Kuya Emer on the driver's seat... It was a scenic ride from our place in Bataan via Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), we exited at Luisita and pass thru Capas, Tarlac to reach our destination.  We arrived at the Monasterio a little over 2 hours.  It took us exactly 2 hours and 7 minutes via SCTEX.  Thanks to expressways, we had enough time to spare for breakfast and sightseeing. Our group picture after eating our "baon" for breakfast courtesy of Torres Family. I appreciate the serenity of the place despite having a number of visitors as it was a Sunday.  The mass was scheduled at 10AM.   The Chapel where the mass is going to be held During the solemn mass... Lining up to touch the Relic of the Holy Cross after the Holy
