2015 Island Adventure #2 Sta. Cruz Island

April 12, 2015

My second trip to the Pink Sand Beach/Sta. Cruz Island in Zamboanga City this year was made even more memorable because of the presence of the Remot fam bam.  The beach get-away was sort of part 2 of the Royal Family Reunion.
Orientation before boarding the boats
Mi hermano Rustan and Auntie Amy just arrived at Sta. Cruz Island.
Remot Family Bonding at the rented hut.
And the non-stop LAUGHTER whenever we are ALL TOGETHER...sweet memories to treasure forever!!!
We got the biggest hut!

Still can't get over the amazing beauty of Sta. Cruz Island
Picture perfect beach

Fun fun fun beach bonding:-)
Remot kids having fun at the beach!
The natural beauty of the island is enticing! The beach area is always clean and the crystal blue water is inviting you to swim despite the sun's scorching heat!  Anyways, the trees are abundant and there are cottages if you want to shield from the sun.  Always remember to bring shades and hat for sun protection:-)

Hubby and moi and our sun-kissed faces :-)
Guests are reminded to maintain cleanliness and bring their own garbage once they leave the island.  No wonder the natural beauty of the Pink Sand Beach is preserved for future tourists and guests to enjoy.
Pink Sand
Red corals such as this one are the source of pinkish sand
Personnel from the city government of Zamboanga constantly reminds visitors about the prohibition of taking corals and sand as souvenirs.

There is no shortage of beautiful views on the island, so snap a picture whenever you can and keep them as a remembrance...

You are always on my mind!
