2D1N Sagrada Familia in Baguio City

Thanks to Expressways!  Particularly SCTEX and TPLEX, our trip last Saturday (10-10-2015) to the Summer Capital of the Philippines only took us about 4 hours!  Toll fees cost us about PhP 500.00 from Subic to Urdaneta, Pangasinan.

It's our little lakwatsera's first trip to Baguio, and I'm sure it's not going to be the last:-D  She is a real trooper!  No hassles whatsoever during the trip.  Our group managed to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Manaoag, to pray for the safe trip and thanksgiving for all the blessings.

Visit to our Lady of Manaoag with Nanay

We had a quick stop over for lunch at a Bulaluhan before finally going to Baguio.  We stayed overnight at the Hotel 45.  While waiting for the availability of a Family room...

Dinner is served!
Ate Kathleen turned seventeen on October 10, Sagrada Family visited Baguio to celebrate with her.  Her dad hosted a dinner for us and her friends at our Family Room.  She is on her first year as Accountancy Student at SLU.

After dinner, we strolled at the Night Market near Burnham Park which is a short walk from our hotel.  Walking from the hotel to the park was a much needed break.  Since everyone was full, it was a bit of an exercise without the sweating part.  Plus the cold weather also helped!

From the night market, we stopped by at a Convenience Store for our supplies the next day.  We went back to the hotel for some more chit chats and then snooze time.

The beautiful Baguio weather greeted us the next morning!  Baby Mikee seems excited  and Nanay, too!  We availed of the complimentary breakfast offered by the hotel and prepared to explore the nearby sights on foot.

Our room accommodation at Hotel 45, thank you Mayor Lim! :-D

After breakfast, we strolled from the hotel to Burnham Park and SM City Baguio.

Hubby and the kids rode a tri-bike and enjoyed the city's breeze...
Bike Ride @ PhP 40.00 per 30 minutes, not bad!
It's also Ate Thea's first time in Baguio!

I really wish we could stay longer and enjoy the cold weather.  Sadly, though we have to go home as soon as possible since a hectic work week awaits at the office:-(

Till our next lakwatsa!!!
