A Beautiful Sunday: Swimming @ Lincoln Heights Pool For FREE :D

February is festive!  Just this past weekend, I was honestly torn between two festivals, being a natural "lakwatsera" a.k.a. wanderlust, I was torn between going to the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Clark Field Pampanga and the Panagbenga Festival in Baguio City.  Due to financial constraints though hubby and I will re-schedule our visit to these festivals for next year!!!

So what to do on a beautiful lazy Sunday?  With friends who have free swimming permit to the village swimming pool, we enjoyed a picnic and swimming in a pool without chlorine:)  The view was amazing! The weather was great!

So you see, it's really OK even if we didn't make it to these amazing festivals, there's always next year:-)

Beach Getaway: White Rock Water Park and Beach Resort

June 6, 2015 Saturday How quick time flies, it feels like just a few days ago when we said hello to summer via my post on the first week of March 2015 . There was no shortage  of water activities this past few months, I must say Summer 2015 to date, has been the busiest! And the hottest!  I personally take a bath 2-3 times a day! So when schedule permits, we are either at a swimming pool or at the beach on weekends! And since we said hello to summer, it is but fitting to say goodbye! Last Saturday we did! Hubby and I were invited by my friend Anne and her family to join them at White Rock Water Park and Beach Resort for a beach getaway. Welcome to WHITE ROCK! 2D1N Sagrada Familia in Baguio City

Thanks to Expressways!  Particularly SCTEX and TPLEX, our trip last Saturday (10-10-2015) to the Summer Capital of the Philippines only took us about 4 hours!  Toll fees cost us about PhP 500.00 from Subic to Urdaneta, Pangasinan.  TPLEX, Urdaneta Exit Bladder Break at the TPLEX Urdaneta Exit It's our little lakwatsera's first trip to Baguio, and I'm sure it's not going to be the last:-D  She is a real trooper!  No hassles whatsoever during the trip.  Our group managed to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Manaoag, to pray for the safe trip and thanksgiving for all the blessings. Visit to our Lady of Manaoag with Nanay We had a quick stop over for lunch at a Bulaluhan before finally going to Baguio.  We stayed overnight at the Hotel 45.  While waiting for the availability of a Family room...
