SBMA Activity: Flag Raising Ceremony

Every Monday except those that fall on a holiday, our agency, the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) holds a Flag Raising Ceremony.  The program includes the singing of our national anthem, a One Minute Prayer, Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, and Good News from the Lead Department.

I can distinctly remember my first ever flag ceremony as a new SBMA employee on November 3, 2003.  A certain department (out of the 40+ depts. and offices) is scheduled or assigned to lead each flag raising ceremony.  Today's ceremony was led by the Treasury Department.   Being the last day of April 2012 and tomorrow being Labor Day,   I would like to dedicate this post to all the concerned SBMA departments who always make an extra effort during each flag raising ceremony specifically the Law Enforcement Department (LED), Transportation & Communication Department (TransComm), Human Resource Management Department (HRMD) and Fire Department.  

Mabuhay ang SBMA at mabuhay ang lahat ng manggagawa ng SBMA! Maligayang Araw ng Paggawa sa ating lahat!

Beach Getaway: White Rock Water Park and Beach Resort

June 6, 2015 Saturday How quick time flies, it feels like just a few days ago when we said hello to summer via my post on the first week of March 2015 . There was no shortage  of water activities this past few months, I must say Summer 2015 to date, has been the busiest! And the hottest!  I personally take a bath 2-3 times a day! So when schedule permits, we are either at a swimming pool or at the beach on weekends! And since we said hello to summer, it is but fitting to say goodbye! Last Saturday we did! Hubby and I were invited by my friend Anne and her family to join them at White Rock Water Park and Beach Resort for a beach getaway. Welcome to WHITE ROCK! 2015 Summer Trip # 1: Sto. Niño, San Felipe Zambales

March 8, 2015 (Sunday) Welcoming Summer 2015 with a trip to the beach/food trip!  Some of hubby and moi's friends from the office decided to plan a trip to the beach with our families and kids to relax and beat the summer heat.  Our call time was at 6AM however with a few glitches we we're only rolling at 10AM... I always enjoy road trips to Zambales because of the smooth ride, no traffic, plus no toll fees! Roadtrip:  On the way to San Felipe Zambales We arrived at San Felipe Zambales around lunch time.  With the sun, the sea and the sea breeze we feasted on a sumptuous lunch:-) Pork barbecue, Korean Pancit, CPA and fruits for lunch:-) Double thumbs up Kuya Joe! A beautiful sunny day for swimming! Life is a beach:-) Hubby and me:-) I didn't get the chance to swim though because I had sniffles...better luck next summer trip!
