Image
(Apologies for this late blogpost, I've been really busy with work.  It took a little more than 3 months to post Part Two of our Macau-Hk Adventure.) May 18, 2013 SATURDAY It's our first full day in Macau:-)  We're excited to see Asia's Las Vegas:-) Macau is also known for its scenic attractions:-) So, come on let's strollll!!! We were greeted by a line-up of beautiful cars parked below our flat. At the flat, we already had noodles and bread for breakfast.  Then at around 8am we were strolling around the area.  We were surprised to see shops are still closed:(  Apparently we were such early birds! Shops and stores are closed except for 7eleven and K convenience stores.  We learned that the shops there actually open between 9AM and 10AM. Some photos taken during our morning stroll/sightseeing:) Upon reaching San Malo, we bought the famous Portuguese egg tarts priced at MOP 8 each:-) It's about PhP 40 each! Quite pricey but I tell you it's ...

Warning:  Looongg post :D (A blog post over one month in the making.) May 17-21, 2013 Here goes our travel story:-)   Its hubby and moi's second time to travel together abroad. The first one was our trip to Bangkok last August 2009.  That seems ages ago! May 17 FRIDAY PM Since we will take off via Clark International Airport at around 7PM, our trip started from Olongapo at a little past 2PM we rode Victory Liner  via SCTEX, which is supposed to be airconditioned but it seemed like a regular bus as all the passengers were perspiring.  Nevertheless, at about 4PM we arrived safely at Dau, Mabalacat Pampanga.  Thank God! Upon arrival at Dau, we rode a tricycle to Clark for Php 70 and then rode a jeepney to the airport for Php 50 each. At the Clark International Airport we were quite surprised as their AC broke down:( The same atmosphere inside Clark Airport  and Victory Liner Bus:( It's super hot! Like we're melting (hehehe! exaggerated...

Random Nuggets: A Rainbow After the Rain

Image
It's amazing to see a rainbow from our office window, for me it's like little life lessons subtly telling us that our life may not be sunny all the time but we are assured that there's always a rainbow  after the rain:) Just sharing positive vibes peeps! Photo taken from our office window with my trusty Samsung Phone. The above quote from an unknown author sums up my thoughts.  It's definitely true, "Everyone wants happiness, no one wants pain, but you can't make a rainbow without a little rain." XOXO, Lakwatsera

Last weekend was our "Huling Hirit sa Tag-Init" trip with hubby, Koji, Kleng and Panx, Cha & Atty. Mike. It was an adventure one year in the making:) The trip was amazing because it's everybody's first time to get there. Nagsasa Cove is all just sun, sea, mountains and sky...It has no electricity, no huts and no signal.  Fortunately, they have running water and C.R. :D We spent PhP 450 each for the round trip boat ride from Nora's Beach in San Antonio, Zambales to "our island" in Nagsasa Cove.  All the awesome views while on board the boat was all worth it!  I really wish I could capture each moment to share it with the world! All Aboard! Excited and ready to go! The fairway seems busy this weekend:) Hubby enjoying the boat ride :D Anawangin Cove from afar:) Approaching "Our Island" for One Day So the adventure begins! Swimming, Snorkeling, Sight-seeing, Eating, Picture-Taking and Camping.  So many adventures s...
